The health emergency obliged to switch to an online conference, a new experience for the organizers and for the participants. My sincere thanks go to everyone.

To the AISRe board and in particular, to the Secretary and the Treasurer, who in few months reorganized the conference, exploring new organizational and technical solutions, with the right dose of curiosity and attention to detail.

My thanks go to the University of Rome 3 for hosting our Web Conference. However, my warmest thanks go to those who believed in AISRe, and participated in large numbers in the event, making it rich in content and scientific messages.

At this point, we hope to meet you all personally again, in September 2021 in Lecce.

AISRe Special Call: Coronavirus & Territorial Impact

The crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and already spread throughout the world, has generated the need to understand, plan and measure the regional impact of the virus.

The pandemic hit the health sphere, but not only.  As it is now widely understood, it also had dramatic impacts on the economic and social level. To improve understanding the factors that influence the ability of a territory to react to the effects of the pandemic, AISRe organized a Special Call on the Coronavrus and territorial impact.

The analyzes of the socio-economic effects and impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic for the study of spatial and temporal spillovers, networking processes and, in general, the effects of the virus on prices and financial assets, employment and supply, work market, consumption, savings, habits and living conditions of families, were considered of particular interest.

All abstracts are available in the AISRe archive.
